January 2021 Newsletter

Happy New Year !!!How was 2020 for everyone? It was a crazy year for me and the clinic. I am hopeful that 2021, at least the second half, will be much better for all of us.

As you are all aware, if you are receiving this email, you are among the 300 patients downsized from 3,000 patients that will continue with me. To some of you, joining concierge medicine was simple and easy. To some, it was a difficult choice to make, and some sacrifices had to be made in order to join. Some of you did it just to support me and the staff that works here. Nonetheless, myself and my staff appreciate you and we will do our very best to support you and your family as we move forward into 2021.

My forecast for 2021 is mixed. We all know the first half is going to be dominated by Covid 19. I believe we will be heading into the peak of our Covid wave here in Washington state over the next 2-3 months. Especially with the more contagious mutated version of Covid 19 circulating around, our infection rate is going to steadily go up. Good news is that the vaccines are here in record time and my hope is to be able to secure enough vaccines for our patients when they are available for the general public. The date is a moving target but I am told it might be early March when the Johnson & Johnson and Astra Zeneca vaccines will be available. I know there are many who are worried about this vaccine and those are my concerns as well. However, my view on vaccines has not changed. I am a pro-vaccine doctor and I would recommend you to get it as well when it is available to you. I will be in line to get my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine this week as a frontline Covid treating physician.

While the outlook of the first half of 2021 seems like a continuation of 2020, the second half seems much brighter.  I believe enough people would have had the disease and recovered, and add that to patients who would have received the vaccine to reach some sort of herd immunity, and this pandemic will be on it’s way out and we can resume our normal activities and lives. Until then, we all need to work on improving our immune system and lowering our overall inflammation in our body, which is how we protect ourselves from Covid and other infections that try to invade us.  If we have not talked about this yet, the first thing you need to do this year is to schedule an appointment to come in and put together a plan on how to do both.
We got this.  We are in this together.  I am glad that you have decided to stay with me.  I have been treating Covid patients as young as 5 and my oldest in their 70’s, and have not lost a single soul yet with my treatment protocols I have been using for my patients. During this pandemic, I do believe your survival does depend on who is treating you. Know that you have 20 years of frontline experienced Top Doc by your side.

Lastly, I am looking forward to 2021 as a 100 % concierge physician. We will also be moving our clinic by the end of the month to a new location, and will let everyone know once we have finalized all the details. Stay healthy everyone and cheers to a new year and new beginning.

Dr. Suh

Greetings everyone!

I am also so happy for the new year! As I mentioned in the last newsletter we are still seeing patients on the esthetic side that are non-concierge members. The main point of difference now is that, due to limited availability, Dr. Suh is booking out further in advance for esthetic services. Please allow a bit more time to get your appointment scheduled now. We do have a newer esthetic service to announce. We’ve brought on the Plasma Pen to help pinpoint problem areas on the face to stimulate new collagen growth. Ideal for around the eyes including upper and lower eyelids, lip lines, and deeper set forehead lines. For the launch we are offering 50% off your treatment area. Curious if this is right for you? Come in for a consultation and we can develop a plan for just for you!Warm Regards, Brianna
